Overview

Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Network Systems Engineer. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast growing organization.

 

We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Network Systems Engineer to support the Fusion Support Department. In this role, you will provide advanced levels of support to successfully deploy Crestron enterprise software and technology in complex enterprise networks in a firm that cultivates a close-knit and collaborative corporate culture.

 

We will look for you to showcase your Computer Administration and Audio/Video Integration skills. You will also provide advanced levels of support to successfully deploy Crestron enterprise software and technology in complex enterprise networks - this includes knowledge of Windows Server deployment, database management, virtual environments, wired and wireless networking, and groupware applications like Microsoft Exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Working with various IT staff and departments to coordinate hardware requirements and enterprise software installation and configuration
  • Troubleshooting problems as they may arise during installation or runtime of Crestron integrated deployments
  • Documenting and updating the details pertaining to a case for presentation to end users, dealers, and other Crestron teams and departments as necessary
  • Perform on-call operational duties on rotational basis
  • Provide remote or customer site training on Crestron products

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Crestron Fusion experience
  • 2+ years of networking or Crestron programming experience
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, VMware background, Microsoft Exchange, including DNS, DHCP
  • Experience deploying enterprise asset monitoring and scheduling solutions
  • Utilize and manage VMware virtualization technology in an Enterprise
  • Utilize and manage Microsoft Azure
  • Advanced networking skills (knowledge of tools like Wireshark)
  • Background administering SQL Server and above with basic knowledge of SQL implementation and backups
  • C# Programming skills a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational sense
  • Motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of audio/video products, system design, and control
  • Knowledge of Unified Communication, Data, or Messaging
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS Office
  • Limited travel required (Up to 20%)

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Computers, Networking, or Electronic Engineering required OR System Administrator equivalent role.
  • Network+, CCENT or CCNA certifications a plus
  • Audio/Video Integration - Crestron Master Certified Programmer a plus
